Multi-Year Contract engagement thru June 30, 2027

Hybrid Role with some travel to Tallahassee, FL on an ad hoc basis. Florida residents preferred.

The Talent Source is looking to engage a .Net Azure Architect with proven experience in the .Net, Azure development stack for a direct contract with a large Florida Agency. Applications closing May 6th so please respond ASAP.

Experience required includes:

1.1. Leadership of a successful development and implementation of an application in Azure development;

1.2. Eight years of architect, design and development experience with .NET application and Entity framework;

1.3. Ten years of experience with MVC;

1.4. Thirteen years of Object-Oriented programming, ASP.NET, JavaScript and application development using C#;

1.5. Six years of experience working on a project using Scrum methodology;

1.6. Six years of experience with Azure Build and Deployment automation processes;

1.7. Five years of experience with Azure DevOps, including pipelines, triggers, blob storage, data migration (between cloud and on-prem), data warehouse, scheduling VMs, and Webjobs, ADF, Graph API, ARM templates;

1.8. Five years of experience with integrating Azure AD into a web application using OpenID Connect;

1.9. Three years of experience with Azure ASE and integration with SQL MI;

1.10. Three years of experience with Azure Data Warehouse and integration and SQL MI;

1.11. Two years of experience with Power BI;

1.12. Five years of experience with Azure cost analysis;

1.13. Five years of experience with collection, calculation, and analysis of data related to FEMA claims;

1.14. Six years of experience with IIS environment for clients and servers;

1.15. Six years of experience with FLAIR date and reports; and

1.16. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent with work experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

During the period of this engagement the Contract Consultant will perform the following tasks:

2.1.1. Design, code, and document application architecture as directed by the Department;

2.1.2. Provide technical training and guidance to development team members as directed by the Department;

2.1.3. Provide technical guidance to product owner as directed by the Department;

2.1.4. Assist Scrum Master with monitoring development team productivity as directed by the Department;

2.1.5. Attend and participate in all ceremonies of a Scrum development project (planning sessions, stand-up sessions, review sessions, backlog grooming sessions, pointing sessions, and retrospective sessions) as directed by the Department;

2.1.6. Conduct code review as directed by the Department;

2.1.7. Work with the Department's Office of Information Technology and development teams to analyze and minimize costs associated with the Azure environment;
