12- month renewable contract in Linthicum, MD.
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Digital Design Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in Linthicum, MD.
US Citizen with an Active DoD Secret Clearance is required to start. Secret Clearance must have been established or reviewed within the last 5 years.
Offer is contingent upon the ability to obtain access to Special Programs (SAP).
Work is 100% onsite in Linthicum, MD - no remote work available.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Digital Design Engineer, you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation. The selected individual will work on FPGA or ASIC Design across the full product life cycle process. In this capacity, you will utilize your working knowledge of digital design, signal processing and digital interfaces. This candidate will have an ability to operate in a team environment and collaborate across the different teams as required to accomplish the goals.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o BS in Electrical Engineering or another STEM (Science, Technology, Engineer, Mathematics) discipline
o 9+ years of digital design engineering experience
o Working knowledge of full product life cycle (requirements, design, implementation and test) of FPGA Design and/or ASIC Design
o Knowledge of System Verilog, Verilog and/or VHDL
PREFERRED:
o Experience with industry standard FPGA design implementation tools for IP integration, PnR, CDC
o Experience with industry standard ASIC front-end design tools for synthesis, LEC, CDC
o Experience with STA constraints generation and timing closure
o Experience with MATLAB, Mentor Graphics design tools, Synopsys or similar tool
o Familiarity with Xilinx and Intel FPGA technology
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's in science degree in Electrical Engineering or another STEM (Science, Technology, Engineer, Mathematics) discipline is required.
School must be accredited.
HOURS:
9/80 workweek is possible but optional.
Hourly Pay Rate is $85.00-$106.26
