- Process transactions as needed, including but not limited to cashing checks, processing cash advances, issuing cashier's checks, and receiving deposits and loan payments
- Maintain and balance a cash drawer, branch vault and ATM
- Follow dual control policies and procedures which may include processing the night drop and audits
- Identify customer needs and promote appropriate products and services
- Cross sell bank and non-bank products and services referrals through in-person sales and outbound calls; increase household penetration within current customer base
- Recommend and open new deposit accounts and ensure accounts are opened efficiently and effectively within Bank policies and procedures (UB 2)
- Dialogue with customers regarding their loan needs; Obtain and evaluate financial statements; Pull and understand credit information; Ability to successfully close consumer loans. (UB 2)
- Answer customer calls and perform any other services to address the customer's needs
- Ability to order customer products, such as checks and debit cards
- Service customers and accounts as needed
- Attend seminars and bank meetings as required
- Complete online compliance training and in person training
- Educate self where opportunities arise
- Regularly review and verify teller and other operational quality controls within the branch; Complete monthly branch operation reports
- Ensure completion and accuracy of Teller operations including but not limited to balancing of banking center, completion of all related general ledger oversight, maintenance of all logs, accurate completion of CTRs,
- Adherence to all necessary control functions related to Teller operations
- Maintain all negotiable instruments within the branch
- Complete branch cash management duties, such as ordering cash
- Oversee and follow branch security procedures; facilitate/participate in security training
- Provide coaching to other team members by monitoring and enhancing performance with constructive feedback and encouragement.
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Required: 2+ years of banking experience with a basic understanding of lending
- Preferred: 2+ years of banking experience and ability to execute the lending process
