- Project Management:
- Oversee all aspects of healthcare construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure that deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.
- Safety Compliance:
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and other relevant safety standards.
- Provide regular safety training and awareness programs for construction crews, subcontractors, and other personnel.
- Quality Control:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that construction meets all specifications, codes, and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to identify and address any quality issues.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
- Communication:
- Maintain open and effective communication with project teams, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular progress updates to project managers and other company leadership.
- Address any concerns or issues raised by stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- ICRA Training:
- Possess and maintain current Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) training certification.
- Implement ICRA protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of infection during construction activities in healthcare facilities.
- Ensure that all personnel working on healthcare projects receive appropriate ICRA training and always follow established protocols.
- Bachelor's degree in construction science, Construction management preferred.
- 5+ years' experience
- Demonstrated ability to thoroughly understand drawings and specifications, general contract and subcontract documents, materials, means and methods.
- Must be able to manage tight deadlines and the responsibility of accurately forecasting the budget for a project.
- Candidate must be self-motivated, well organized, and able to communicate effectively.
- Must be willing to work nights and weekends.
- Jobsite cleanliness.
- Ability to work in occupied space.
- Proficient with MS Office Word and Outlook.
