- Work from blueprints to set up and operate vertical, horizontal, tube and CNC hones.
- Finish internal surfaces of objects including cylinders and manifolds through the use of wrenches, adjustments of pressure mechanical stops, hand wheels or CNC controls.
- Perform additional duties as assigned including the Kevlar wrapping of cylinders.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum (3) years production experience in a precision machining environment.
- Working knowledge and understanding of a variety of honing equipment.
- Experience with precision measuring equipment including bore and air gages.
- Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require frequent walking primarily on a level surface. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to move materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 50 pounds. May include frequent pulling, pushing, and grasping.
- The primary environment of this position is the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection, and proper footwear.
