    GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB.
    • Setup various type of profile tools and/or saws that require re-conditioning and efficiently provide the re-conditioning services to meet OEM print. Must be dependable, self-directed, focused and willing to be part of a team that is driven to provide best customer service in the industry. Intermediate to advanced blueprint reading. Must have good tooling and machining background.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
    • Setup and operate any CNC or EDM machine safely and productively.
    • Perform first piece and in-process inspections.
    • Setup and run manual mills and lathe machines.
    • Load and unload parts into machines.
    • Work independently.
    • Keep area organized and clean.
    • Resolve issues with minimal supervision.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent. Seeking machinist with 3-5 years of experience; Machinist diploma preferred.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

    REASONING ABILITY:
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Loading and unloading of parts, moving of racks, etc. Lifting fixtures.
