    7-3:30 Monday- Friday

    The Inspector's position will provide oversight ensuring all purchased and manufactured materials meet applicable requirements.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assures that incoming materials both purchased items and raw materials, meet specifications and requirements.
    • Samples first-piece and in-process items
    • Measures with precision instruments
    • Prepares Certificates of Compliance
    • Maintains product and supplier history
    • Processes returned goods and materials
    • Other duties as directed

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

    Preferred Skills, Experience, and Certifications

    • Basic mathematical skills
    • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office products
    • Knowledge of inspection practices in a manufacturing environment
    • Knowledge of precision instruments including calipers, micrometers, etc.

    Physical Requirements

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to use hands, hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and /or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

    Individuals must be able to participate in the DOT / FAA FAR 145 related drug and alcohol screening requirements.
