- Performs diverse tasks associated with the daily operations, such as greeting and providing information to patients, scheduling appointments, and resolving customer problems.
- Enters patient data into the system, scans documents, and maintains accurate patient records.
- Aids in acquiring and distributing digital patient records, ensuring appropriate filing and distribution.
- Fulfills image and report requests, maintaining proper protocols for releasing patient information.
- Confirms patient information, insurance details, and calculates/collects payments as needed.
- Prepares schedules, labels, and forms for the next day, ensures adequate supply levels, and assists in procedure room preparation.
- Assists in departmental operations under supervision, focusing on customer service and efficient care delivery.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- BLS certification
- Good judgment, communication skills, and computer literacy
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Organizational capabilities and ability to handle a busy medical office environment
- Prior experience in healthcare transport or related roles
- Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records

Medical imaging plays a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care at Banner Health. POSITION SUMMARY
This role supports technologists and/or nurses in the department by handling non-technical, patient, and procedure-related tasks following facility policies. It includes various clerical, administrative support functions, and customer service duties for a designated patient care area, ensuring an organized and efficient care delivery to patients.
