- Provide regular career counseling for high school students to help them discover fulfilling,successful careers
- Prepare and share information on career exploration and job market statistics to facilitatestudents' postsecondary planning
- Facilitate partnerships with school districts, community leaders and organizationsfor the purpose of building resources and expanding program opportunities forstudents
- Provide resources and access to workshops on essential training skills and resume writingParticipate in regular scheduled meetings with Regional Coordinator and Everybody Counts staff
- Prepare and maintain weekly communication and case notes updates for students
- Travel to high schools and special events is required (In selected counties)
- Intensive coaching support to eliminate barriers that hinder employment and enrollment in post-secondary education
- All other duties as assigned
- Associate degree required
- Previous experience working with youth ages 16-21
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills required
- Must work with diverse populations
- Must work independently without direct supervision
- Team player
- Driver's License required
- Background check required
- Have reliable transportation
- Willing to travel locally
- Work both independently and collaboratively with a team
- Hybrid (remote and in person)

. Under the supervision of the Regional Coordinator the College and Career Coach will assist public school students in Fayette County with transition to a job and or post secondary pathway, which includes credentials, technical certifications, associate degrees, and other postsecondary degrees through the Everybody Counts initiative.

Pay Details: $26.00 per hour
