    Job Description The Director of Wellness provides leadership and day-to-day management of resident services. The Director also provides oversight of healthcare management and well-being of residents throughout the
    community; day-to-day management of clinical operations to include staff training, staff
    scheduling, staff in-services, resident documentation, quality assurance and staff
    retention.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Assist in the training of all resident care employees in accordance with Golden Pond policies, in-service training programs and state and federal regulations to ensure regulatory compliance;
    Supervise clinical team (nurses and RCA Aides) in providing quality care of residents in accordance with the Golden Pond philosophy and policies and in compliance with state regulations;
    Maintain resident wellness files to include monthly clinical audits related to EOEA regulations;
    Coordinates up to date information related to red file folder, emergency resident forms and EMR;
    Coordinates and oversees accurate RCA and nursing schedule to reflect the safety and well-being of residents and staff 24/7;
    Coordinates clear and concise communication with residents, families, next of kin, guardians, medical staff and psychiatric team related to updated resident information, resident care needs and other pertinent information related to the safety and well-being of residents;
    Coordinates and maintains accurate day to day and month to month quality assurance information in collaboration with clinical team and on-site providers;
    Prepares and presents monthly quality assurance information to Directors at monthly meeting;
    Coordinates clear and concise communication with new residents and next of kin related to initial resident/family meeting, coordination of resident care needs and collaboration with clinical team on initial resident information;
    Coordinates and maintains accurate initial service plans, introductory visits, medication sheet and other information during initial resident move-in and state regulations;
    Coordinates and oversees weekly nursing meetings and as needed;
    Coordinates and assigns nursing on-call, holiday and weekend rotations to ensure the safety and well-being of residents;
    Provides on-call/after hours emergency availability to clinical team as needed;
    Supports marketing efforts and census for Golden Pond;
    Implements clinical and administrative policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of clinical operations;
    Works with The director of Clinical Operations to ensure smooth transitions of new residents, clinical team operations and overall well-being of residents and staff;
    Other duties as assigned.


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    LPN/RN in good standing with Massachusetts Nursing State Licensing Board with current LPN/RN licensure;
    Four or more years working in a health care setting(preferably in Assisted Living, Long Term Care, Adult Day Health or Home Care;
    Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English in a clear, and concise manner;
    Must demonstrate problem solving abilities;
    Must have sound interpersonal skills to provide respectful and effective communication with residents, staff, family and visitors;
    Ability to develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries;
    Ability to manage stressful situations in a calm, organized and professional manner;


    HOURS:
    Full-Time, salaried, with the ability to work weekends, evening and
