Bar Harbor Bank & Trust is seeking a full-time
Customer Service Specialist working 40 hours per week to join our call center team.
This role provides a significant amount of on the job training, as such we generally expect incumbents to be in the role for a minimum of 12 months before applying to internal career opportunities.
Responsibilities include providing professional and confidential customer service by answering incoming telephone calls with courtesy and efficiency while accurately processing a wide variety of banking transactions and providing appropriate product recommendations to bank customers.
This is an excellent opportunity to obtain in depth knowledge of many banking functions if you have been considering banking as a career.
Experience in banking or prior call center work is helpful; on the job training is provided.This position can be located in office throughout our footprint of Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire. This role is regularly scheduled 8:30-5:00 with a few Saturdays a month 8:00 to 12:00.
Working knowledge of Windows, sharp customer service skills, and the ability to multitask are essential for this job. An individual who enjoys being part of a fast paced, team environment will be best matched for this position.
