    Join our Client in Reno as a Warehouse Manager.

    This is a start up facility - so a great time to join You'll oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipping of small part/individual items to consumers.

    The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong background in warehouse management, inventory control, and team development.

    This role requires someone with a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse staff.
    • Lead and actively participate in the safety committee, promoting a culture of safety awareness and compliance.
    • Utilize ZenDesk or similar platforms to track and manage warehouse activities, including inventory levels, order processing, and customer inquiries.
    • Develop and implement best practices for e-commerce fulfillment, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
    • Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Provide training and coaching to warehouse staff on quality best practices, safety procedures, and operational efficiencies.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess warehouse performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, customer service, and procurement, to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
    • Lead performance management and development initiatives for warehouse staff, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development planning.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
    • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, and e-commerce fulfillment processes.
    • Experience with ZenDesk or similar customer service platforms is highly desirable.
    • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
    • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
