    Lead Angular Engineer


    Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Lead with experience in Web UI development using Angular, developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications.

    Responsibilities:


    Leading the full stack team and extensive handson experience in Web UI development using Angular JavaScript, and backend Node JS and unit testing framework Jasmine and Karma.

    Cloud experience – AWS (FARGATE, ECS, EC2, S3, R53, RDS, IAM, LAMBDA, VPC).
    Good to have java programming and webservice development experience.

    Utilize programming languages like Angular, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services.

    Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.

    Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community.

    Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of People achieve financial empowerment.

    Effective Client communication.
    Should be able to work on both Frontend and Backend technologies like AngularJS and NodeJS.

    Qualifications:

    Must Have:
    Overall software development experience is 12+.
    9+ years of handson AngularJS development experience and 2+ years of working experience with AngularJS 11+.
    5+ years of experience in writing unit tests using Jasmine and Karma.
    6+ years hands on experience on AWS ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3 and SQS.
    1+ years hands on experience/Knowledge in AWS Fargate.
    Experience in Agile practices.
    3+ years of tech lead experience in leading the full stack team.
    2+ years of handson experience in V10, REST API, 12-factor microservice principles.
    2+ years of experience in writing Node JS V10 unit tests using Jest, Mocha.
    Must be analytical, good team player and self-motivated.

    Preferred:
    Experience in Financial Domain.
    Handson experience in Java
    Experience in writing unit tests Junit, Mockito
    Hands on experience in Jquery, Jscript
    Salary and compensation


    The annual salary for this position is between $110K – $127K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
