Description

Job title: Caregiver

Location: Yokosuka, Japan/ USA

Duties:

Assist with Activities of Daily Living including, prepping meals, and eating, showering, grooming, dressing (remove/put on clothes), transferring to and from furniture such as beds, desks, and chairs.

Assist with performing of daily living that an employee would typically perform him- or herself if he or she did not have a disability while the employee is away from the normal duty.

Assist with maintaining a healthy and safe environment (some cleaning, disinfecting, and organizing when necessary)

Accompany and assist employee on official travel and assist with work-related activities.

Assist in personal hygiene needs.

Provide catheter care and bowel program management.

Travel from Outside of the continental US to Continental US 48 connected states and the District of Columbia.

Requirements:

Have a current CPR certification.

Have and maintain a U.S. Passport.

Able and willing to travel both within the United States and internationally.

Have the ability to assist in performing personal tasks requiring the movement or lifting of persons.

Knowledge of the basic operational mechanics and functions of a manual wheelchair.

1-2 years of experience as a personal assistant would be advantageous.

Skilled in general office automation.
