    The Program Coordinator for Nursing is primarily responsible for overseeing the nursing program's day-to-day operations.

    In addition to assisting in critical operational work assigned by the Dean and Faculty of the Wheaton Nursing Program, the Program Coordinator will maintain administrative activities and support the daily tasks related to the on-site program.


    Essential Functions:

    Serve as the main point of contact for the Nursing program regarding all program related mattersMaintain and ensure all nursing faculty information (address, phone, email, etc.) and faculty files are kept current including resumes licensure, transcripts, and tracking continuing education unitsManage Student Files to include, current, inactive, and graduate students.

    Ensure clinical evaluations, Student Handbook signatures, and all other relevant information is includedOversees, instructs, and coordinates activities of support staff.

    Monitors expenditures and reconciles financial statementsAssists in data collection and report development to BON , CCNE for the nursing programProvide administrative support and compile date for the nursing program Dean as needed for BON and CCNE .

    Provide support during accreditation site visits and MA BON visits.

    All other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university;Two years of administrative experience

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Minimum of two years experience working within a Nursing programStrong attention to detail, interpersonal, and communication skills.
    Dependability, timeliness, trustworthiness, and maintaining confidential information.
    Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

    The starting hourly rate for this position will be will be commensurate with the qualifications, education and experience.
