Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and ambitious Quality Engineer to join our client's growing team in Columbus, OH Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today as interviews are being conducted immediately.

A successful candidate will be able to evaluate the quality management system, product design and manufacturing processes from the standpoint of quality as assigned as well as coordinate plant quality functions for new launch programs.

Work as the primary internal contact to manufacturing to supervise processes & identify and tackle quality problems in manufacturing &/or measurement with the goal of implementing improvements.

Responsible for meeting customer quality requirements and interaction with customers/suppliers during APQP meetings.

Serve to audit & improve the quality management system.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

Mechanically inclined with hands on experience in a related manufacturing environment.
Previous experience investigating quality issues with the ability to research and implement corrective actions.
Ability to identify, create, an implement continuous improvement ideas.
Ability to utilize Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint) when providing reports and data analysis.
Must be a great communicator and provide feedback to management, customers, and suppliers.
Ability to work harmoniously within a small and experienced management team.
Knowledge of Six Sigma and ISO are a plus..
· Serve as internal auditor & support internal audit process
· Assist quality team with gauge & calibration systems, GR&Rs
