    The Principal Architect will lead various technology improvements and evaluations within our environment and be the technical mentor for the development staff.

    This role will be responsible for guiding and leading the design and technical oversight of various project deliveries.

    This role will also have a significant contribution to our technology advancement by evaluating new technologies, approaches, and refinements to our processes.

    This role will contribute to our technology architecture road map and will work closely with various technology and business groups to ensure we are procuring/developing technology solutions that enable our business and technology delivery groups appropriately.

    This candidate must have strong architectural background and be extremely hands-on from a development perspective. The architecture approach at is pragmatic and all architects are expected to be able to develop solutions.
    ResponsibilitiesLeads the evaluation of new technologies and approaches for use within the organization.
    Leads the definition and enforcement of various development standards, guidelines, and processes.
    Leads the definition, design, and development of development frameworks.
    Contributes to the definition and maintenance of the technology architecture road map.
    Provides mentoring and coaching to development staff on various technologies and concepts.

    Designs, builds, and unit test various solutions; both technical frameworks as well as project deliveries that advance our technology capabilities.

    Executes and monitors developer design and code reviews.
    QualificationsB.S.

    in Business Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent experience (10+ years) required.8+ years' experience in IT Architecture and Software EngineeringStrong working knowledge of the Microsoft Technology Stack (e.g.

    ASP.NET, C#)Strong experience with classic ETL tools and techniques required.
    Experience with ESB (enterprise service bus) and SOA architectures is required.
    Must be detail oriented with outstanding analytical and problem solving skillsStrong understanding of database management environments, ideally SQL Server.

    Strong working knowledge of modern software design principles, concepts, and practicesAbility to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment with a focus on teamwork.

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills with excellent relationship building skills.
    Familiarity with agile (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) highly desirable.
    Experience in the asset management industry is strongly desired.#LI-DNP
