Dental Hygienist

We have offices located in Chicago's Hyde Park area and Pilsen area. We are looking for a dental hygienist to work at our office on Mondays (9am -5pm), Tuesdays (9am-5pm), Thursdays (9am - 5pm) and Fridays (7am – 1 pm). The hours can be flexible if needed.

We are a general dental office that primarily sees adult patients plus some children. We also do cosmetic, full restoration, scaling / root planning / perio services, prophylaxis, fluoride treatment, digital x-rays Clear aligners, dentures / partials and implants and crowns. We also have our in-house oral surgeon.

Our hygienist is booked one hour for each patient with their own operatory. With some flexibility to see patients at ~30-45 mins if deemed appropriate.

Our office holds extremely high standards for dental care for our patients; our reviews and patient reports speak for themselves

Willing to interview new graduates, but 2 years' experience is recommended plus certification to administer local anesthetic.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Remove calcareous deposits, accretions and stains, apply topical agents, Place and exposed x-ray films, Polish teeth, take medical history and vital signs, Chart caries and periodontal conditions, Apply pit and fissure sealants and desensitizing agents to the teeth, Removing calcareous deposits, accretions and stains, Applying topical agents.

•Assists in the maintenance of all department areas in compliance with clinic policies and procedures relative to infection control, exposure control and safety issues - Covid vaccination required per State of IL, ADA and ILDPH requirements.

•Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients.

•Excellent communication and patient interaction skills. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with co-workers in a team-oriented environment.

About Comfort Dental Studio:

Dr. White opened his first dental office in 1992, four blocks from his childhood home on the south side of Chicago. Many of Dr. White's early patients knew his parents and him from a young age and he took great pride in doing his best work for his patients because they were his friends and neighbors. He took great care to set a professional example that would make his parents proud. Comfort Dental Studio has moved a couple of times since then and has also grown to a 2-practice office and the patients who come in are from all over the world, but the philosophy in which we operate has not changed. We don't have a fast-paced office. We focus on delivering great quality dental care on a personalized basis. We deliver the best work with each procedure to help ensure dental treatments are done well the first time. We are looking for a provider who will embrace these principles and our work culture.
