    Job DescriptionPro Resources Staffing has an exciting direct-hire opportunity for a Controls Engineer for our esteemed client on the NW side of Indianapolis. As a Controls Engineer, you will design, modify, update and troubleshoot control systems for automatic industrial equipment. Apply today to be considered for this full-time opportunity
    Job Location- NW side of Indianapolis (Park 100 area)Status- Full-time, Direct-HireSalary- $70-80k
    Job Duties:
    • Selection of components
    • Design of circuits and cabinet layouts
    • Generation of bills and materials
    • Writing PLC programs
    • Configure servo systems
    • Troubleshooting the final system, either for a new design or by modifying an existing design to use a different brand of PLC or to meet a different safety standard.
    Background Profile:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology OR an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology with at least 5 years of experience.
    • Proficiency in the following types of PLC's: Allen-Bradley Control Logix, Mitsubishi Q or iQ Series or Siemens S7.
    • Familiar with the application and setup of digital servos
    • Experience or familiarity with creating and modifying electrical schematics using AutoCAD or similar software
    • Familiarity with the applicable electrical standards (NFPA 70 and NFPA 79) is preferred.
    • Familiarity with U.s, Canadian, and CE safety standards preferred.
