JOB TITLE: Quality Engineer

FLSA STATUS: Exempt

DEPARTMENT: Engineering

REPORTS TO: Engineering Manager

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No

JOB LOCATION: Remote

TRAVEL: 0%

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for .NET web applications to ensure
high software quality and reliability.

• Conducting thorough manual testing of web applications to identify defects, usability issues, and
performance bottlenecks.

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites using industry-standard testing tools and
frameworks.

• Collaborating with software developers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements
and ensure adequate test coverage.

• Performing regression testing to validate software changes and ensure backward compatibility.

• Analyzing test results, track defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues in a
timely manner.

• Participating in daily standups, code reviews, requirements analysis, and software design discussions to
provide quality insights and recommendations.

• Continuously improving testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and
effectiveness.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field of study and/or equivalent work experience.

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Quality Engineer or Software Tester with a focus on testing
.NET web applications.

• Experience with both manual testing techniques and automated testing frameworks for web
applications and APIs.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and
collaboratively in a team environment.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Postman and other contemporary tools and
frameworks.
