Job Description:
GliaCell is seeking a Senior Software Developer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer.
The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform software development in support of test engineers to ensure the systems under test meet all measured criteria.
Working as a team to support a larger organizational effort.
Make modifications to an existing code-base that are custom tailored to this effort.
Key Requirements:
To be considered for this position you must have the following:
Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science (or related discipline).
8+ years of software engineering experience.
Works well independently as well as on a team.
Key Skills:
Experience communicating both orally and written on testing status to technical leads and customers.
Prior experience with major testing systems used internally required to make minor modifications and feature changes to suit specific testing requirements for this effort.
Developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments.Developing UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments.
Leading projects that develop complex software, ensuring a collaborative environment, and configuration management.
