- Derive first-principle equations related to whole-cell simulations in biophysics.
- Develop linearization method to efficiently linearize the first-principle equations suitable for quantum linear system algorithms (QLSA);
- Analyze the complexity of QLSAs for the linearized equations.
- Perform classical and quantum simulations.
- Publishing results in highly visible, peer-reviewed venues (e.g., conferences and journals). Qualifications
- Candidates must have received a Bachelor's degree within the past 24 months or within the next 8 months from an accredited college or university. Minimum overall GPA of 2.5 required.
- Bachelor in Physics or a related field
- Strong background in quantum algorithms and biophysics
- Experience with reaction-diffusion equation, Carleman linearization, and quantum linear system algorithms Hazardous Working Conditions/Environment
