    With recently implemented new software we are seeking a Senior Accountant to partner with the operations team and external auditors to support their continued growth.

    This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the success of the company during this exciting phase of growth.


    Responsibilities:
    Manage month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
    Partner with the operations team to analyze project costs, revenue recognition, and budget variances.
    Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making and strategic planning.
    Assist with the implementation and optimization of new accounting software and systems.
    Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with GAAP, statutory regulations, and internal controls.
    Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in financial and operational workflows.
    Provide support and guidance to junior staff members as needed.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred.
    5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
    Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
    Experience with project accounting, revenue recognition, and job costing.
    Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
    Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to change.
