Job summary
THE SERVICE MANAGER KEEPS SERVICE PROVIDERS INCLUDING SERVERS AND SERVER ASSISTANTS ON TASK AND FOCUSED ON PROVIDING EXCELLENT GUEST SERVICE INTERACTS WITH EACH TABLE INDIVIDUALLY TO CONFIRM GUEST SATISFACTION WITH FOOD AND SERVICE THEY ARE A KEY MEMBER OF THE SERVICE TEAM AND KEEP THINGS RUNNING SMOOTHLY OUT FRONT AND VISIBLE TO THE GUESTS.
Responsibilities
- FIRST MEMBER OF MANAGEMENT THAT GUEST COMPLAINTS ARE ESCALATED TO AFTER SERVER IS NOT ABLE TO SATISFY THEIR NEEDS.
- ATTENDS EACH TABLE DURING THEIR DINING EXPERIENCE CONFIRMING THAT THEY ARE ENJOYING THEIR TIME AT THE RESTAURANT AND ARE SATISFIED WITH WHAT THEY HAVE ORDERED.
- WORKING WITH OR RECEIVING APPROVAL FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER LEAD KNOWING HOW TO WORK EACH STATION RECRUITS TRAINES SCHEDULED COACHES DISCIPLINES TERMINATES SERVERSSERVER ASSISTANTSAND HOST/ESS COMMUNICATING JOB EXPECTATIONS MONITORING REVIEWJOB CONTRIBUTIONS ENFORCINGS POLICIES PROCEDURESCOMPETING TURNING IN PAPERWORK DOCUMENTATION.
