    Description

    Summary



    This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.

    It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - DBC/SERVICES DEVELOPMENT DIRECTORATE.



    Duties

    • Serves as the leading expert and portfolio acquisition manager overseeing cost, schedule, performance, and risk management activities.
    • Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors.
    • Evaluates program and budget plan proposals, acquisition plans, and strategic plans, ensuring consistency with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Implements tracking systems and performs periodic reviews to measure progress in terms of milestones and resource utilization.
    • Performs as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition System, (DoD) Program, Planning, Budgeting and Execution Systems (PPBES), and Government contracting laws and policies.
