    School-Based SLP Position For Next School Year

    ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position with a school district located in Oxford, Pennsylvania. The SLP will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to students with a wide range of communication disorders and disabilities.CCC or CFY welcome to apply


    Overview:

    • Full Time, 8AM - 3:30PM
    • W2 Contract
    • Start Date: 7/1/2024
    • End Date: 6/12/2025
    • Virtual Interview
    • Caseload: Preschool age students (3-5 years old), daycares, head start classroom, early childhood special education classrooms

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
    • Provide therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
    • Collaborate with other members of the education team to develop and implement IEPs and provide support to students.

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Speech and Communicative Disorders
    • Active Pennsylvania SLP license
    • ASHA CCC preferred, will consider SLP-CFY
    • Previous experience working in an educational environment is preferred
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills

    Clearances:
    In order to be eligible for employment in Pennsylvania public schools, the following clearances, trainings, and forms are required upon hire--

    • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
    • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34)
    • FBI Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114)
    • Act 126 Child/Student Abuse Recognition and Reporting
    • Arrest or Conviction Form (PDE Act 24)
    • School Personnel Health Record (Physical with TB Test)
    • Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Information (Act 168)
