Job Summary
The Leadership Role in the Academic Testing Center ensures that the Center is compliant with relevant university and state policy and procedures, including legal contracts and policies for awarding credit.
This role manages budgeting and will develop and execute a strategy to produce revenue.It develops and provides professional customer service for external partners and offers guidance and information to supplement and enhance the student experience and their efforts to persist and graduate.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage operations, including a $250,000 budget, along with logistics of the Academic Testing Center which includes the supervision of 4 full-time staff, graduate assistants, and student workers.
Oversee on-campus and off-campus testing administration including the scheduling of test dates monitoring the accuracy and integrity of the Center.
Maintain strict security of tests and ensure the coordination of institutional scoring, testing registration and administering testing programs.Liaise with the Admissions, Records and Registration Office to maintain scoring and exam standards. Produce data pertaining to tests being administered.

requirements on campus. Backup lab proctor during times of need.
Maintain a clear understanding of all applicable federal, state, and University policies and procedures.
Support institutional effectiveness efforts; including the utilization of lab space for department proctoring of mid-term exams, final exams and other exams as needed.
Participate in meetings, professional conferences, and individual professional development.Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in related field with One (1) year of experience working with college students or adolescents in an advising capacity or the equivalent experience.
Federal, state, and local policies and procedures governing academic advising functions; and resources provided by academic advising associations such as
NACADA
and
TEXAAN . A working knowledge and ability to use the University Catalog is essential.
Written and verbal interpersonal communication; organizing information; problem solving; adhering to deadlines and time management; taking initiative; outreach; and navigating student information systems.
Work professionally, collaboratively, and independently; and proficiently use Microsoft Office Programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint.Other Requirements
Demonstrated willingness and/or experience working collaboratively with students and/or co- workers from a wide range of abilities, backgrounds, and experiences.
Working Conditions
