    First Merchants Bank is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to join our team This position will perform a final inspection of completed work in order to ensure it was completed in accordance with established procedures.

    Reject and return to those units where a defect has been identified. Conduct root-cause analysis of defect trends and contribute to the problem-solving process. Provide recommendations on opportunities for improvement within assigned processes.

    As part of this role you will:
    Complete review of completed work within assigned processes in accordance with established unit procedures.
    Record and document results of inspections and report worrisome issues and/or trends to the Manager, Quality Assurance.
    Review QC results and recommend opportunities for improvement to processes that will prevent future defects of the same kind.
    Participate in Business Process Initiatives when requested.
    Support the manager in performing special analytical projects when necessary.

    To be successful in this position, we require the following:
    High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
    Six (6) months of financial service, customer service or related processing experience.
