    As a Sales & Service Assistant Manager you role is responsible for, Sales (Sales coaching, sales development); Member Satisfaction (branch operations, referral management, front desk facilitation, process improvement); Team Development (leadership, training, growth, coaching); Organizational Image (maintenance, equipment, supplies; associate image and ownership); Compliance (procedures, policies, associate education, government regulations, loss prevention

    Sales & Service Assistant Manager Job Responsibilities:

    Sales:

    • Makes decisions in the best interest of the member and the credit union to ensure member satisfaction.
    • Utilizes skills training & experience to increase member relationships through coaching of branch staff.
    • Provides product and service information to members in helpful, professional manner in an effort to create member value and increase CU share of wallet.
    • Communicates branch stats, audits, productivity and goals on an ongoing basis – facilitates meetings & trainings to achieve branch goals.
    • Uses experience to provide associate support (education, performance reviews, member concerns, etc.) through leadership, shadowing, coaching, feedback, development, recognition and encouragement.
    • Performs dialogs, review of goals, and assessments with branch staff.
    • Fosters an environment of process improvement; encourages creative thinking and innovative solutions.

    Operations:

    • Assists the Sales and Service Manager with day-to-day operations of the branch.
    • Limits losses through associate education and monitoring adherence to established operating and security policies/procedures; compliance guidelines and government regulations - Responsible for branch compliance self-assessments.
    • Assists with new hire, operational, and procedural training.
    • Accountable for keys and combos being evenly distributed and documented to branch staff.
    • Responsible for maintaining and testing the branch alarm system.
    • Works with Digital Services to ensure branch ATM's/ITM's are operational for members.
    • Responsible for coordinating IT and facility issues for branch with the respective departments.
    • Prepares a branch schedule that is conducive to member needs and actively monitors trends and volumes to adjust scheduling as needed. Helps prepare vacation calendar for team.
    • Responsible for ADP processing of branch staff.
    • Assists members by filling in as Personal Banker and/or at front desk as needed.

    Sales & Service Assistant Manager Experience:

    • Two to Five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions
    • Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred

    Sales & Service Assistant Manager Education:

    • Two year degree preferred
    • Certification and two years related operations experience of 4 years financial Operations experience.
    • Strong sales, service, and leadership skills
