Description
Summary This position is located in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Assistant Secretary for Public and Indian Housing.
Responsibilities As a Management Analyst, you will:
Conduct studies to identify and analyze conventional problems in regard to manpower, administrative, financial, budget, and cost matters. Evaluate opportunities for improvements in management systems and presents recommendations for review and implementation.
Identify and develop data required for use in the management and direction of programs as they relate to resource management and administrative support operations.
Survey, develop, analyze ,and assesses human resources targets, travel needs and provides cost data and other information for use in program planning and evaluations activities.
Assist in the development of plans, programs, and work analyses necessary to define, establish, and implement administrative control systems and work methods and procedures.
Prepare oral and written reports and presentations and prepares graphs and charts that present clearly, concisely, and effectively analytical results of evaluations and studies performed.
Provide staff support for formal presentations. Requirements Conditions of Employment The official duty station for this position will be in Washington, District of Columbia. Failure to report to duty at this location may be grounds for a disciplinary action, including removal.Key Requirements:

Specialized Experience:
For the GS-11, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service.
