    Description

    The East Orange VA Medical Center in East Orange, NJ is seeking a full-time Inpatient Psychiatrist to support our Veteran population.

    The preferred candidate will be board certified in Gynecology.



    This position is intended to enhance gynecologic care and expand the gynecologic surgical services provided at East Orange VAMC.

    This includes the provision of office-based gynecology care, including office-based procedures, as well as operative procedures on both a same-day surgical and inpatient basis.


    • Examine, diagnose, and surgically treat routine and complex noncancerous gynecologic disorders
    • Some travel to other NJ VA Healthcare System locations such as Lyons, NJ and Brick, NJ

    Key Requirements:

    • MIGS training and fellowship highly preferred
    • U.S. Citizen
    • B/E or B/C in OB/Gyn
    • Holds a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in ANY U.S. State


    Additionally, the physician will work closely with our team of dedicated health care professionals to assure compliance with rational, regional, and local VA performance standards, and may serve on local committees as deemed necessary in support of the facility mission.
