Job Description

Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to help in the manufacture of signs and other related duties in our shop this will include trimming signs, pulling orders; and packing orders for shipment.

Essential Functions:

• Follow customer order sheet to make sure all signs are ready.

• Laminate signs making sure they are done correctly

• Learn all aspects of what we do including manufacturing of signs from start to finish and all aspects of data entry.

• Help other departments when needed

• Be able to multi-task to get orders out quickly

• Communicate efficiently with supervisors and teammates regarding orders

• Work unsupervised as well as part of a team to achieve company goals and growth

• Use all types of office software and equipment to carry out daily tasks as assigned

• Help with the marketing and design of new products and services

Skills / Abilities:

• Be able to multi-task several orders/tasks at once

• Dependable and punctual

• Be able to lift at least 50+ pounds as needed

• Be productive in fast paced environment while working unsupervised or as part of a team

• Posses great time management skills and able to thrive in a sometime high stress environment

• Able to provide great customer service

• Stand, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, hear, and walk.

• Prior experience using a forklift and electric pallet jack a plus

• Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment

• This is an entry level position that can lead to growth opportunities within the company

Education / Experience:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• Previous design experience is a plus

Certifications:

No Certifications required.

Work Environment:

While performing the essential functions of this job you will spend about 100% of your time working in a warehouse or shop setting. This individual may be expected to assist in sign making, quality checking or packaging traffic signs and stencils that are made-to-order.

Work Schedule:

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday 7 Am - 4 Pm.

Hours may vary depending on workload and business needs. Some working of a half-day on Saturday may be required depending on business needs and customer orders.
