    Job Description and Duties

    Under the supervision of a Senior Engineering Geologist, the incumbent will be required to perform engineering analyses, geotechnical evaluations, project development, and project management for the State Plan of Flood Control (SPFC) levees, channels, and flood control facilities, to support the Flood Maintenance and Operations Branch.? Responsibilities include operations, maintenance, and emergency response activities for SPFC infrastructure, and duties include identifying integrity issues, correcting flood system deficiencies, and repairing flood-damaged levees, channels, and structures throughout the Central Valley.?
