    Description
    Responsibilities
    functions as an integral support between Manufacturing and Engineering providing solutions and implementation follow through.
    between engineering and production to solve and create details for standard installations.
    and maintain engineering standards for design.
    engineering change notices and follow through on productions changes and updates through standard processes.
    in creating details for new design concepts.
    edit and help develop standard operating procedures for manufacturing.
    lead teams and meetings to implement processes and drawing changes and updates and communication to the manufacturing plant.
    drive and implement continuous improvement items and projects.
    drawing sets for sheet metal components and assemblies including details and bills of material.
    internal project engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing with accurate communication and documentation. Participate in project design and scheduling meetings.
    engineering functions in manufacturing processes to provide support for issues and implementation.

    Requirements
    Degree in mechanical or industrial engineering
    written, verbal, mathematical, and interpersonal skills.
    3 years experience using 3D modeling software. (Inventor Preferred)
    to use related equipment and software such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
    understanding of design techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology and processes.
    aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations and problem solving
    and remaining consistent in all CADD standards and company/departmental practices and procedures
    in backup power generation or similar field a plus
    with sheet metal components a plus
