    ENT, Otolaryngology at The Kirklin ClinicThe Audiology Division of UAB's Department of Otolaryngology is seeking skilled Audiologists to join our growing, dynamic team.

    The audiology program boasts a long history of providing excellent care to patients with otologic and audiologic concerns. Audiologists practice as part of a collaborative interprofessional team along side Neurotologists, Head and Neck surgeons, and Otolaryngologists.

    Qualified candidates should have experience with a variety of diagnostic testing including:
    comprehensive audiograms, tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions, acoustic reflexes, videonystagmography, electrocochleography, auditory brainstem response testing, and vestibular evoked myogenic potentials.

    In addition to diagnostic testing, the selected candidate will be part of a comprehensive amplification and implantable hearing devices team.

    There will be opportunities for mentoring and program development.

    eduPosition Requirements:
    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEMaster's degree in Audiology and CCC required for those licensed prior to 2007. Doctor of Audiology (AUD) required for post 2007 graduates. Work experience may not substitute for education requirements.


    Preferred:
    ENG, ECOG and ABR experience


    LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS:
    Current Alabama license in audiology from the state of Alabama required. If licensed within another state, licensure must be updated within 30 (thirty) days of employment. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of employmentTRAITS &
