Our team explores, develops, and delivers new, cutting-edge technologies that serve as the foundation of current and future AR/VR products.

We are looking for candidates with expertise in test system bring-up and sensor characterization to help with the development of novel hardware and software systems within their Sensors Team, while collaborating with experts across multiple domains.

Responsibilities:
Develop PC-based software test solutions for the characterization of sensors including accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, pressure, and ultrasonic sensors.

Develop and implement software that tests electrical and mechanical sensor parameters using Matlab, Python and/or LabVIEW.

Improve test software scalability and drive code reuse while ensuring test accuracy and repeatability.

Document best practices and leverage internal infrastructure to automate data analysis and report generation tasks.

Define and implement the infrastructure necessary to ensure reliable data collection.


Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.

2+ years of experience developing test data analysis software or scripts using Matlab, Python or similar programming environments.

Experience with version control systems such as Git or Mercurial.

Experience developing unit, system, and corner-case tests for PC-based software.

Experience troubleshooting electronics using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.


Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience with semiconductor, sensor and/or MEMS test development.

Demonstrated experience with developing and debugging embedded firmware.

Familiarity with analog and digital hardware development at the PCB level.

Demonstrated experience in cross-group and cross-culture collaboration.

Familiarity with Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technologies.
