Position performs skilled and unskilled labor associated with the maintenance, repair and reconstruction of bridges, roads, parking lots, guide rails, and drainage structures.
Experience or training in the operation and maintenance of light motorized and mechanized equipment and/or trucks used in road, bridge or drainage structure construction repair or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Ability to operate two wheel drive tractor loaders, rollers up to five tons, air compressors, cement mixers, sand blasters, bobcat mowers, weed whackers, chain saws, tandems, etc.
Ability and willingness to work outdoors and respond to emergencies, such as snow plowing, etc.Essential Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent. Valid New Jersey Driver's License, posses or ability to secure a Class A Commercial Driver's License. Acceptable driving record per county standards.
No more than 1 DUI conviction within past 10 years; no reckless driving convictions within past 3 years; no more than 9 current points Investigation of any fatal accident or revocation of driving privileges.
