- The Bus Driver is responsible for the safe transportation of Boys & Girls Clubs members.
- Driver is responsible for following all transportation policies and procedures mandating the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley, the state of Tennessee, and DOE Licensing.
- Driver is responsible for securing the bus post drop off to assure all members have exited the bus
- Driver is responsible for transporting members of the Boys & Girls Clubs in accordance to Tennessee driving laws as well as the DOE Licensing Policy and procedures.
- Driver is responsible for daily inspection of vehicle prior to leaving facility.
- Driver is responsible for daily transportation documentation according to day care licensing standards.
- Driver is prohibited from using his or her cell phone while driving the bus, this includes driving with or without youth on the bus.
- Genuine caring, trust and respect are demonstrated between and among staff and members. Name calling, labeling or stigmatizing do not occur.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have a CDL, class B with P endorsement.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and DOT physical.
- Must be available to drive within ten days of drug screen.
- Need to be able to acquire CPR/First Aid at the first available training.
- Must attend DHS trainings every six months.
- Must attend first DOS training available after hire date.
- Must be able to stay alert while driving the bus
- Must have at least 20/40 vision

We have an immediate opening for a part-time bus driverMust have a CDL, class B with P endorsement. The bus driver picks up children and youth from designated schools to the Lenoir City Boys & Girls club. We would love to have you as a member of our team
