    COMPETITIVE SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS

    Reporting to a radiologist and under the guidance of the Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist, this position involves proficiently conducting imaging on nuclear medicine equipment. The role entails adhering to scanning and imaging protocols, recognizing cross-sectional anatomy, conducting scans, and administering isotopes as needed. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for delivering excellent service, adhering to hospital policies/procedures, and utilizing RIS/PACS and HIS for accurate patient exam documentation and results dissemination.

    Minimum Education

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Completion of an AMA-approved and accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
    • Graduation from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology

    Minimum Work Experience

    • Recent, preferably within one year, hospital-related experience
    • Experience in Digital Imaging and post-processing PACS

    Required Licenses/Certifications

    • Certification by the nuclear medicine technology certification board (N.M.T.C.B.) or ARRT certification
    • Current Vt. state NMRT license
    • BLS Certification by the American Heart Association
    • Completion of 24 ECE credits within a two-year period for re-certification and licensure

    Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

    • Advanced assessment skills relevant to the specialty area
    • Knowledge and expertise in adjusting procedures and conducting additional studies to assess and demonstrate specific areas for optimal diagnostic exams
    • Evaluating the appropriateness of examinations based on clinical information provided
    • Ability to strategize, set goals, and objectives for assessment and review
    • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft desktop applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

    Pay Range = $45.96
