In this role, as Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator, you'll have an opportunity to work closely with the Director of Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy Lead to continue quality patient care services.
In addition, you will have a chance to showcase your clinical skills by developing and conducting drug utilization reviews, recommending and/or implementing programs for improving pharmacy resource management to the extent that they will bring about more efficient, safer, or more economical use of drugs.
You will have a chance to assist and educate pharmacists, as well both post-graduate year 1 & 2 residents.While assisting with the pharmacy's quality assurance activities, you'll have a direct hand in ensuring compliance with both patient care and medical practice standards.
You will also assist in the coordination of the department's in-service trainings and employee/student education functions, ensuring the maintenance of the staff's skill/education levels.
This is a full time Clinical Coordinator (Infectious Diseases/Antimicrobial Stewardship) day shift position Monday-Friday with clinical on-call responsibilities located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
