    Essential Functions

    Essential Duties

    Olympic College is recruiting part-time faculty to teach face-to-face technical design classes at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, the Bremerton campus, and the Shelton campus. Specific job functions are listed below.

  • Teach Technical Design course(s) such as Blueprint Reading, Solid Edge, Computer-Aided Design, Technical Drawing, Descriptive Geometry and Project Management in accordance with college catalog and departmental guidelines.
  • Provide quality teaching including related preparation and grading.
  • Provide class syllabi to students enrolled in classes and to the division office as requested.
  • Maintain accurate records of students and complete forms as required.
  • May include evening instruction.
  • This position is considered to be a hybrid position.
  • Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates degree from an accredited college.
  • Subject expert in one or more technical design courses.
  • Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Teaching experience college level preferred.
  • 3-D Printing and/or 3-D Scanning experience.
  • Other AutoDESK programs are a plus.
