- Assess patient condition on admission and during shifts, promptly noting and communicating any changes.
- Conduct ordered procedures, monitoring, and other tasks as prescribed. Thoroughly document care provision in patient records in a timely manner.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor response, and take necessary action in case of adverse reactions.
- Deliver exceptional service by addressing patient needs promptly, striving to anticipate and fulfill requirements proactively.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and potential side effects in a clear and understandable manner.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of employment.
- Possession of other required certifications during employment.
- Completion of an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing before the start date. Candidates can secure a position before graduation.
- Active Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse status in the State prior to starting. Orientation can commence before passing the NCLEX.
- No prior experience required.
- Possibility of some local travel for training within the Kansas City metro area.
