    Job Summary

    Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with ten locations across five states, offering the highest standard of medical and clinical treatment. As a Nurse at Avenues Recovery Center at Fort Wayne, you will provide quality medical care to clients, coordinate pharmacy and prescription needs, and collaborate with medical teams to ensure total coordination of care.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment, and discharge.
    • Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs.
    • Collaborate with extended medical, clinical, and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care.
    • Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking, and reporting for each client.
    • Provide patient education in individual and group settings.

    Requirements

    • Minimum one year diploma program post-high school.
    • Current RN licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask.
    • Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles.
