    Description

    JOB TITLE: IT Technician

    Welcome to the job description of the IT Technician position at Desert Imaging, where we are seeking a talented individual to join our team. As an IT Tech, you will play a crucial role in installing, configuring, and maintaining our organization's local area network (LAN) and computer systems. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the network's constant availability and delivering high-quality service to all users. Take a look at the key details below:

    • Maintain and administer computer networks and related environments, including hardware, software, and backups.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
    • Implement network security measures and manage applications like PACS, RIS, email, and antivirus.
    • Operate consoles to monitor system performance and coordinate network access.
    • Design, configure, and test hardware and software components.
    • Perform network cabling and address system issues with users.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma or equivalent with two (2) years of relevant experience, including wide area network knowledge.
    • Must possess problem-solving skills, be a continuous learner, an effective communicator, and capable of working both independently and in a team.

    • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and providing accurate and efficient service.

    WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

    • Travel within the area may be required.
    • Occasional lifting and moving of up to 25 lbs.
    • May need to perform tasks like climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crawling.
    • Required activities include standing, walking, talking, listening, and reaching.
