    Description

    Job Title: Physical Therapist - PRN

    We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital.

    Overview:

    This is a flexible and premium pay rate position that requires a first shift schedule (days) in the United States of America.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury
    • Provides age appropriate education for clients and caregivers
    • Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members

    Requirements:

    • Master's or Doctorate Level Degree preferred
    • 1 year experience required for Resource Pool applicants
    • For Hampton Roads Outpatient facilities only - Must obtain Direct Access certification within one year of hire for those with a BS or MS degree
    • Hospital at Home PT is only for SNGH Hospital at Home or SLH Hospital at Home

    Qualifications:

    • BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree: Physical Therapy (Required)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
    • RQI, Direct Access Certification (Physical Therapy) - Certification - Other/National
    • Physical Therapist License (PT) - State license - North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners (NCPT)
    • Physical Therapist License (PT) - State license - Physical Therapy Compact Commission (PTCOMPACT)
    • Physical Therapist License (PT) - State license - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP)
