    We are hiring for HVAC Technician Assistant who will assist with maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.

    Troubleshoots and assists with installation of new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines.

    The ideal candidate should have some HVAC technical background and be able to work in a team environment.

    In this role, you will...


    • Assists in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems: HVAC Technician Assistant must be able to assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. This involves assisting with inspections, troubleshooting equipment, performing necessary repairs or replacements, and upgrading systems to improve their performance.
    • Assist with routine maintenance: HVAC Technician Assistant will assist in performing routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure that they operate efficiently and effectively. This may include cleaning ducts, replacing filters, and checking refrigerant levels.
    • Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting problems: When HVAC systems malfunction, the HVAC Technician Assistant must be able assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting the problem.
    • Adhere to safety guidelines: HVAC Technician Assistant must follow safety guidelines to ensure that they and their clients remain safe. They must be familiar with safety regulations and industry standards and ensure that their work meets those standards.
    • Work under supervision and/or as part of a team: HVAC Technician Assistant will work under supervision, as part of a team and at times under minimal supervision. They must be able to work effectively with others and collaborate to solve complex problems.
    • Keep up-to-date with industry trends: HVAC technology is constantly evolving, and technicians must keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements. They must be willing to learn new technologies and techniques to remain competitive in the industry.
    Requirements and Qualifications...


    • Must be enrolled in HVAC Certification Program from an accredited trade school
    • Minimum 1 years of experience as an HVAC Technician Assistant or relevant field
    • EPA certification - Universal
    • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the company.
    • Clear and professional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with different levels within the organization, as well as vendors.
    • Must possess ability to conduct research and work with minimal supervision.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and follow through.
    • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
    • Knowledge of HVAC systems: HVAC Technician Assistant must have minimal understanding of various heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and ductwork. They should be familiar with system components, their functions, and how they operate together.
    • Electrical and mechanical knowledge: HVAC Technician Assistant must have minimal understanding of electrical and mechanical components of HVAC systems. They must be able to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documents.
    • Troubleshooting skills: They must have problem-solving skills and be able to identify the root cause of the issue.
    • Safety knowledge: HVAC Technician Assistant must be familiar with safety regulations and industry standards. They must ensure that their work meets safety guidelines to ensure the safety of themselves and their clients.
    • Customer service skills: HVAC Technician Assistant may be required to interact with clients and must be able to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service.
    • Adaptability: HVAC technology is constantly evolving, and HVAC Technician Assistant must be able to adapt to new technologies and industry trends. They must be willing to learn new techniques and technologies to remain competitive in the industry.
    • Attention to detail: HVAC Technician Assistant must be meticulous and detail-oriented. They must pay close attention to details to ensure that HVAC systems are installed, maintained, and repaired correctly.
    • Time management skills: HVAC Technician Assistant often assist work on multiple projects simultaneously. They must have time management skills to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
    Schedule and Location


    • Tuesday through Saturday 9am to 6pm
    • On-Call 1 week every 4 weeks
