    Position Summary:

    Clinical Student Coordinator is responsible for the organization and coordination of student clinical experiences at Carle Health. Collaborating with academic partners, Carle Health leaders, students, and preceptors across the system to ensure excellent clinical learning experiences. The Coordinator will work with the clinical exchange platform, Sharepoint system, and other regulatory applications to manage the student onboarding and placements, regulatory requirements, and affiliations agreements with academic partners. The coordinator should expect to collaborate with team members to ensure all work is completed in the required timeframes to accommodate the academic timelines.



    Qualifications:

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
    Bachelor's Degree in Related field

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
    Customer service experience.

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
    Excellent written and verbal communication. High degree of comfort with Microsoft Office platforms.



    Essential Functions:

    • Supports clinical student onboarding, placement, and follow-up for clinical students throughout the Carle Health system, including nursing, certified medical assistants, technologists, respiratory therapists, surgical technicians, and other roles.
    • Promotes access to clinical opportunities by facilitating excellent, clear communication with academic partners.
    • Assures completion of all regulatory requirements, tracking, and reporting for student processes.
    • Facilitates regular updates and communication to academic partners, in conjunction with Clinical Education, HR, and other teams.
    • Manages academic affiliation agreements for all clinical students at Carle Health sites.
