Insight Global is looking for a Network Engineer for one of our commercial real estate investment banks in Charlotte, NC. This individual will be primarily responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining computer networks. This person will need to possess a vast knowledge of Cisco Switches, Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, Azure Firewalls, and Conditional Access Policies. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Setting up Cisco switches from scratch according to specific standards.
Maintaining switch operating system (OS) versions, ensuring theyre up to date.
Setting up and maintaining Handle Palo Alto firewalls directly and through Panorama.
troubleshooting network issues and swiftly remedying any issues that arise.
Work closely with project managers on security and network deployments.
Regularly reviewing and maintaining the network infrastructure
Responding to emergency situations and performing effective troubleshooting during production outages
Documentation for the installations and provide continuing service advice.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
2-3 years experience in network management
3+ years experience installing and supporting Palo Alto Firewalls
Knowledge of protocols BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, SPT, TRUNKS, VLANs, Port-Channel, Static routing
Networking topologies and protocols. Examples are MPLS, VRF, SIP, Traffic Shaping / QoS
Thorough knowledge of Panorama, Wildfire, Global Protect, and other Palo Alto features including but not limited to SSL decryption.
Experience with Wireshark or other protocol analyzers. CCNP certification null
