    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Care Center position working evening-to-overnight shifts, requiring 2+ years of ER experience and active NC or compact licensure.

    Responsibilities

    • Emergency Care Center (ER) department in a hospital setting
    • Shift hours: 2:45 PM – 3:15 AM
    • Minimum 2+ years of recent ER nursing experience required for this position
    • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
    • Position is located in Asheville, NC

    Requirements

    • Active NC or compact RN license required
    • Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
    • ACLS required
    • TNCC certification required
    • CPI certification required; SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA may be accepted in lieu of CPI
    • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
    • 2+ years of recent clinical ER experience required
    • US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
    • One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
    • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
