The Nurse Practitioner offers medical consultation, routine patient care, and follow-up as directed. This role necessitates specific competencies related to different populations.Adhering to National Patient Safety Goals is essential based on the level of patient interaction required in this role. The responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Initiates and completes a thorough patient assessment
- Orders laboratory tests, radiological examinations, and other routine diagnostic procedures
- Diagnoses actual or potential health issues based on data analysis and plans appropriate intervention
- Orders and starts suitable medication, treatment, and consultation based on data analysis
- Performs routine procedures like injections, immunizations, wound care, blood draws, and managing simple conditions caused by infection or trauma
The Nurse Practitioner reports to the supervising physician and Practice Management Operations Manager. This position may have additional physical demands and respiratory fit test requirements.

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner programCurrent Oklahoma Nurse Practitioner license
Current BLS Certification
